Boating

With so many lakes and reservoirs, Beaver County is a wonderful place to bring your canoe, boat, or paddleboard. Visitors cool off in any one of Beaver County's high-alpine lakes that dot the Tushar Mountains or find family-fun at conveniently located Minersville Lake.

If you like motorized speed boating, Minersville Lake is for you. While it’s a smaller lake, it’s rarely busy, so you’ll have much of the water to yourself.

The high mountain lakes of the Tushar Mountains are perfect for the solitude of a paddleboard, canoe, or any other non-motorized adventure. These high alpine non-motorized adventures lend to the serenity you find in an escape from the hustle of life.

Paddleboards can be rented from Rock’N J Rentals. Tushar Campground also has complimentary canoes and life jackets for use for the nominal day-use fee, unless the entire campground is reserved for a group.
