Swimming

It’s easy to cool off in Beaver County! Take a dip and swim in a local pool or lake.

Milford City has an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and Minersville Town has an outdoor pool that also opens Memorial Day.

Beaver City Swimming Pool has both lap swim and open swim 9 months of the year.

Minersville Lake is great for summer swimming starting in June. Prior to June, the water temperature is too cold. There are restrooms available and the day-use fee is $10 per car. There are life jackets to rent for $2 from the on-site camp host. Life jackets are always highly recommended in open water.
